The Jalal Foundation is a non-profit NGO that is run by and works for the women of Afghanistan. We seek to promote, empower, educate and inform Afghan women by building their capacity in human rights, gender issues and leadership.

Our main activities are:

• the development of women’s capacities;
• the protection of women’s rights;
• the empowerment of women for leadership and political participation; and
• advocacy and mobilization of international support to the cause of Afghan women.
